Chill out in the ICEBAR!

If the heat is getting to you, head to one of the coolest attractions in Orlando – the ICEBAR at 8967 International Drive. The entrance fee includes hooded parkas and gloves (or upgrade for a faux fur coat!). Everything inside the bar is carved from ice – the seats, the walls, the bar, and even the glasses! Visit between 5pm and 9pm for Half Price Happy Hour (Sunday through Wednesday). Drinks specials include $5 Mules and $3 Buds with regular Frostbite Cocktails at $12. Finish the evening in the Fire Lounge Bar (free admission) for a night to remember.

Heavens Above!

View the stars in the domed planetarium at Orlando Science Center which is home to the largest public refracting telescope in the state, and plenty more besides. There’s something for all ages in this educational Orlando attraction that has a huge array of interactive exhibits covering science, space and technology. NatureWorld introduces visitors to Florida ecosystems and wildlife with Swamp Talks and Fish Feeding. Delve into Artificial Intelligence, tinker in Kids Town, get creative in The Hive and see how engineering works in the Kinetic Zone.

Curiosities in Ripley’s Believe it or Not

Ripley’s Believe it or Not is the Orlando attraction for those who want to discover the weird, the strange and the downright unbelievable. Explore the Odditorium at your own pace and see the international collection of unbelievable exhibits from all over the world. From shrunken heads to six-legged pigs, you won’t believe your eyes!

Universal CityWalk

Universal CityWalk has over 30 acres of entertainment with family fun and lots of yum all in one place! It’s a great place to visit for dinner and stay on to enjoy all the attractions on offer. The park is open from 11am to 2am daily and there’s free self-parking after 6pm. Buy combo tickets for a meal and a movie, go shopping at the Universal Studios Store, visit the Toothsome Chocolate Factory or see the Blue Man Group perform. It’s amazing!

Go skydiving!

iFly Orlando offers all the buzz of being airborne without actually leaving the safety of the city. Located at 8969 International Drive, this giant flight school provides training and flight suits for visitors to experience indoor skydiving in the safety of a giant wind tunnel. It’s an adventure you’ll never forget!

It was amazing
Our family loved the private pool & hot tub. Would be nice to have float tubes and a ball especially for kids. Loved the large living/entertainment spaces & 4 bedrooms.Kitchen could have basic spices in the cupboard. Our toaster wasn’t working so called to report it & they promptly delivered a new one. Great place, close to Disney. Highly recommend.

Weekend getaway
Great house, plenty of space, very clean and easy to use. There was limited seating in the living room area but great seating in the kitchen and a large dining room table.

Beautiful home!
We enjoyed our time here. The property was an Uber ride to Disneyworld and Epcot center. The property has a nice pool and restaurant area that we did not get to enjoy this time around. Things to bring when staying here are shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They did provide one packet of laundry and dishwashing soap. Plenty of pool towels and bath towels were available as well.If you plan to cook or eat at the house, you will need cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, and sugar. The pots, pans, and utensils were availabe and in great condition.

Great stay
We had a great stay at this home while we attended Disney for a few days. Plenty of room to spread out for the 9 of us! We would stay here again!

A great place to stay while you visit Disney
The property was a convenient distance to Disney and lots of shops and restaurants right down the street. The house had everything we needed. The pool and amenities were an added bonus. It also had a little movie theatre in the community that was a nice day to break up our week at Disney. Plenty of space for the whole family. The kitchen had everything I could need.
